3. AI Readings and OpenAI
Arcanita's tarot interpretations, readings, and conversational features are powered by OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., San Francisco, CA). To make these features work, the following information is transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate your responses:
- Questions, topics, or messages you send for a reading
- Profile context you have shared in the app, such as your display name, birth date, zodiac sign, or focus areas — when relevant to personalize the reading
- Card draws and spread context generated by the App
- Quiz answers (when you take a quiz that produces an AI-generated result)
OpenAI processes this data solely to generate the requested response. Under OpenAI's API terms, data submitted via the API is not used to train OpenAI's models. You can review OpenAI's privacy policy at https://openai.com/privacy.
AI-generated readings and responses are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or incomplete. They are intended for entertainment and personal reflection only, and should not be relied upon for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal, legal, medical, or financial information into the App.
4. Rate Limiting
- AI interactions and readings may be subject to daily or monthly rate limits.
- Limits may vary by subscription tier.
- We reserve the right to modify limits at any time.
5. Subscriptions
Arcanita may offer a paid subscription that unlocks additional features, expanded readings, or removes usage limits. Free users may have limited access to certain features.
Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Apple or Google). We do not store your full payment details.
6. Data Sharing
We share limited data with service providers that help us operate the App. The following third parties may receive personal data as part of operating the App:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) — cloud infrastructure, authentication, and database storage
- OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) — AI readings and responses, as described in Section 3
- SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) — sending verification codes by email
